I run Purple2 Consulting, which helps businesses modernise their technology: cloud platforms, AI, custom software and the delivery practices around them.

Outside client work I build open-source tools, lately MCP servers that let AI assistants manage UniFi networks and Proxmox clusters, and write up how they're built at mattoddie.dev.

For fun, I tinker with a home lab: UniFi networking, Proxmox hosts and NixOS machines. It's where most of those tools get tried out first.
